Current Work
I am Constituency Senior Manager for Ladywood Constituency, Birmingham City Council. I oversee the management of the constituency libraries and neighbourhood offices, as well as the strategic partnerships and Local Area Agreement activities. I am the lead officer on Children and Young People for the Constituency, and I deputise for the Director as required. I am also the ward lead officer for Aston.

I have worked for the audit commission as a performance management specialist, auditing local authorities and other statutory bodies. I also worked as the manager of young homeless people's service for a housing association.

I am the Employment & Training Advisor for The Muath Trust. My job entails supporting people in the Birmingham area to find sustainable work or to enter into some form of training preparing them for the world of work.

Mirpuri Community Development Trust - I worked as development worker to help one of the largest BME communities (Mirpuri community) to access the services they needed.
Faith Wise - I worked on a project, which involved disseminating information about the Employment law and discrimination in the workplace. This also involved organising advice sessions for those who feel they have been discriminated against
