I am the Major of the municipality of Ljubno since 12 years. I promote and represent the municipality of Ljubno with some 3000 residents. My main functions lie with:
- Managing and supervising the work of the local administration
- forming recommendations for the local budget
- forming plans for development of the municipality and overseeing the implementation
- forming the budget for primary education schools and children care
I also actively cooperate as a jury member at the court office in the City Celje for juvenile delinquency.
Past Work:
In the past I have worked for 20 years as an accountant in a private firm called "Kovinarstvo Ljubno ob Savinji" with 140 employees.
For 5 years I was the Chairlady of the Tourist association "Savinja - Mozirje" and also worked as the head of the tourist agency with the same name.

Current work:
Project coordinator: My main responsibilities lie with the coordination of social projects within the Centre of Republic Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training. I also actively participate with the content work in these projects, gathering the data for evaluation and produce the internal evaluation of the projects.
Within the Centre I am a member of the International coordination department and a member of a sub-department for Drop out prevention in Vocational education and training and the development of networks for Life Long Learning centres and Vocational guidance.
Past work
In 2002 I was a part of the group which performed a study on the social standard of the students in Slovenia. The final beneficiary was the National Student Organization - SOU. (Satisfaction with the Quality of Study at the University of Ljubljana). SOU: (2003): Ljubljana.

I study Sociology on the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, I passed all the exams and am waiting for the date of presentation for my diploma thesis.
In between I got a Certificate of Experience on project management, development of working partnership and the development of new project opportunities as the result of good cooperation and the study visit in Careers Europe in Bradford, UK.
