Current Work:
Research Institute for Sociology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Position: senior researcher . Main responsibilities: design and analysis of surveys, focused esp. on various aspects of interpersonal networs of Hungarians, indicators for social vulnerability and sustainable public health. As a contracted expert with ESZA KHT (European Social Fund Public Utility Company) professional management of the monitoring team for measure HRD 1.3.1. (reintegration of women into the labour market).

Contracted expert with various agents e.g. VATI KHT /Hungarian Regional Development and Urbanistic Public Benefit Company, The Ministry of Health, The EU Delegation as assessor for project proposals (Interreg III A., Phare CBC, HRD 4.2., 2.3.2.) Consultant in the development phase of measure 1.3.1 and 1.3.2. (re-integration of women into the labour market) of the HRD OPfor the Managing Authority of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme(HEFOP IH), Ministry of Employment and Labour. At Partners Hungary Foundation, Budapest : program manager responsible for the management of the Phare LIEN micro-program to help disadvantaged social groups.

Current Work:
Researcher at the Sociology Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Recently, I work on a background study for the CEDAW report about the representation of gender roles in Hungary. I also give courses at the Rajk Laszlo Szakkollégium, University Corvinus, Budapest.
I am about to complete several articles as results of my earlier research work
Past Work:
I have been employed by the Sociology Research Institute since 1995. During this period among other responsibilities I carried out a social historical research about the history of Hungarian women's movements. Also I carried out research about women's social position after the Transition period, about the construction of emancipated women in the public life (recorded number of interviews-in depth). I took part in conferences, published studies.
2001-2002: I took part in the ENABLE-AGE project (international comparative research about the housing of elderly people)
Earlier I worked at the Sociology Department of the ELTE University, giving courses. I also worked as a freelance translator and interpreter. In the past I used to be active in the work of grassroot organisations (e.g. Feminist Network), attended meetings, organised events, and edited an independent journal
