Steering Group Meetings

1.1 First Steering Group Meeting and Scoping Workshop 

The First Steering Group Meeting and Scoping Workshop have been organised on 24, 25 and 26 January, in Bruxelles. The themes addressed have been: 

• description of the project as agreed by the European Commission; 
• presentation by each partner and overview on women’s representation and participation in politics in their country; 
• management and administration of the project with a focus on finance, reports, website and the organisation of next conferences  
• Action Plan for the life-cycle of the project 
• The use of social media to encourage more women in European politics 

Two representative from the EC (Ms Lilian Shah and Ms Hélène Lesay) have attended the scoping workshop.

1.2 First online Steering Group Meeting 

On 17 April an online call has been set up among LUDEN, local coordinators and people in charge of undertaking the baseline study. The key issues addressed were:

• update from each partner on where it was at in relation to the creation of LAGs and the appointment of the person who will undertake the baseline study 
• comments from partners on structure suggested by LUDEN for writing the baseline study 
• administrative issues
• Partners express their needs regarding social media guidance

1.3 Second Steering Group Meeting 

The Second Steering Group Meeting has been organised on 17 September 2013 in Tallinn. The focus has been on: the state of implementation from each partner, state of play on documents produced by them, feedback on facebook group, future planning.

1.4 Second online Steering Group Meeting 

On 15 October an online call among LUDEN and local coordinators has been set up to provide partners with guidance on how to structure a breakdown of the budget used for local actions and what proofs they have to provide at this regard.

1.5 Third online Steering Group Meeting 

On 16 December an online call among LUDEN and local coordinators was made to provide partners with further guidance on the expenses claims and the supporting documents related to expenditure incurred in undertaking their local actions and to organize the capacity building programme to be implemented in Brussels.

1.6 Fourth online Steering Group Meeting 

On 29 January 2014 an online call among LUDEN and local coordinators was made to provide partners with further guidance on the organisation of capacity building programme in Bruxelles and on further clarifications on budget allocations and on procedures to follow and proofs to submit in order to get second tranche of pre-financing. Also an online call with the DG Communication of the European Parliament was made.

1.7 Fifth online Steering Group Meeting 

On 24 March 2014 an online call among LUDEN and local coordinators was made to provide partners with further guidance on forthcoming project activities and planning the 2^nd Transnational workshop in Athens.

1.8 Third Steering Group Meeting 

The third Steering Group Meeting has been organised on 5 June 2014 in Athens. The focus has been on: administration issues, clarifications on procedure to follow and proofs to submit in order to get second tranche of pre-financing and forward planning.

1.9 Sixth online Steering Group Meeting 

On 9 September 2014 an online call among LUDEN and local coordinators was made to provide partners with further guidance on planning the final dissemination event in Bruxelles.

1.10 Fourth Steering Group Meeting 

The third Steering Group Meeting has been organised on 27 October 2014 in Brussels. The focus has been on: project closure procedures and deadlines and the final dissemination event.
