Local Actions plans

The project undertook the creation of a Local Action Group(LAG) in 8 partner locations. The LAG had two elements:

• a small (8-10 people) core group who were responsible for developing the local campaign.
• a wider network of key actors and organisations working in the territory in relation to Roma issues.

Local Action Plans linked to local/regional campaigns were developed. These were a variety of events/actions which brought attention to Roma. The campaigns all sought to breakdown barriers between Roma groups and service providers by providing "spaces" for structured dialogue.
